Early Impact and Advanced Impact Programs (EI,AI)
Early Impact/Advanced Impact programs are operated from the LCFS West Region Office in conjunction with Kent county DHS. The primary difference in these programs is the severity of the issues facing families that then dictates the length of the program.
Advanced Impact accepts referrals from Children's Protective Services where Early Impact may include more prevention type cases.
Advanced Impact uses master's level therapists who may see families up to two times a week for a period of four to six months.
Early Impact also uses master's level therapists who work with a family on a weekly basis over a similar length of time. Early Impact cases may also involve the assistance of a Life Skills Educator/Parent Aide.
