  • Maternal and Infant Health Program
  • The Maternal and Infant Support Services program provides support to pregnant women, pre and post delivery, and to their infant child, under the age of one year. A team of a registered nurse, nutritionist and social worker offer supportive visits in the clinic or home to help the pregnant woman or parent give their baby a healthy start in life.

     
    Services include:

    • Clinic or Home visits by professional team with a registered nurse, nutritionist and social worker
    • Health education
    • Nutritional counseling

    Assistance with referrals for needed services:

      • Childbirth Education or Parenting Education classes
      • Support groups or individual/family counseling
      • Household and infant supply resources
      • Assistance with transportation for prenatal care, WIC and other appointments related to your pregnancy and delivery.
