True Story

"I was in big trouble. I got kicked out of school and was arrested a few times. But my mom and dad didn't care what happened to me, so it didn't matter what I did," Steve, a former resident of the Lutheran Home, shares his experience.

"It wasn't until I came to the Lutheran Home that I learned how I was hurting myself, not my parents. I've now got wonderful foster parents, since I've graduated from the program, and love them as I've never loved my family before. I am so thankful for all the good things that are happening because people have cared about me."
